Late Spring Update
Spike Out Cancer Event at Marian Catholic
Last Thursday, Becky’s Warriors partnered with Marian Catholic and St. Patrick’s High School and jointly held our first “Spike Out Cancer” event. The men’s volleyball programs faced off in a balloon-and-ribbon studded gym and the excitement for everyone was noticeable. We had the opportunity to honor several cancer fighters and survivors (including a Becky’s Warriors grant recipient!) as well as some loved ones who were taken. Alongside a bake sale that the Service Club at Marian organized (led by Mrs. Denise Iggins), the event was a great opportunity to introduce Becky’s Warriors to a wider audience.
Thanks to all those who made the day possible especially Hannah Krydynski, Denise Iggins, and all the Marian faculty, staff, and volunteers (several of them were students!)

Also, we are always looking for donated items and cool experiences for Raffle Baskets and Silent Auction. If you’re able to help with either of these, please let one of the Becky’s Warriors’ Board Members know. Thank you!
Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
We were recently notified of an opportunity to help a classmate of Becky’s. At 45 years old, she’s battling Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. To compound the issue, this isn’t the first time she and her family have had to deal with type of cancer. When we spoke with her last week, she let us know she lost her sister 20 years ago to the same type of illness.
We are meeting as a board tomorrow night to discuss how we can help her. Please say a prayer or two for her and her family. Her spirit and her attitude towards fighting cancer are amazingly positive and inspirational.
As we approach the golf outing, this is a great opportunity to rally around a specific fight.
